Aluminium sliding door profiles are the fundamental building block for aluminium sliding doors. Sliding doors refer to a single door which is pulled and pushed open, with no hinges to operate the mechanism. The mechanism used for sliding doors is typically an all-moving piece, with springs that enable the door to move in an efficient manner when opening and closing.
With the development of new technologies and the diversification of decorating methods, aluminium sliding door profiles, from simple sheet metal sliding doors, to aluminium composite profiles, from traditional folding doors, to gliding doors, to patio doors, moulded profiles, through to fully insulated, weather-proof, energy-efficient sliding glass profiles - the range of aluminium sliding door profiles is enormous.
Aluminium profiles for windows and doos are another important factors in the design of aluminium sliding door profiles because the window profile incorporates the hinges. Doors are formed at the manufacturing stage by forming the moulds in a dedicated production line using high-pressure temperature fluctuations. The moulds are cooled during their travel down the production lines to ensure the best possible results and that the moulds are free from any damage or warping while they travel down the lines.
As the moulds are formed, special equipment helps them to travel smoothly, but at a constant speed so as to create a consistent finish, with the special equipment using robotic equipment, which provides for a smooth glide on the production lines. This enables each and every mould to be unique and to provide an accurate and consistent end product.
Once the moulds are formed, the production process begins with the application of the complex multi-layered coating of aluminium oxide, polyimide binder and high-quality resins onto the moulds. These coatings are resistant to water, grease and corrosion.
Once the aluminium oxide, polyimide binder and high quality resin have been applied onto the moulds, they are slowly pulled out using mechanical shears and then pulled back into the original mould to be created into the final aluminium sliding door profiles. This requires a great deal of precision and speed during the manufacturing phase. The result is an individual and consistent cut to each and every mould, ensuring each and every piece has been created equally.
